About the Role

Creve Coeur Animal Hospital is looking for someone to join our excellent, energetic, and positive team! We are a busy five-doctor practice that treats dogs, cats, rabbits, reptiles, and pocket pets. We offer competitive wages and great benefits. We are looking for a kennel assistant who is able to help us continue the wonderful care we offer to our patients and our boarders. The purpose of this position is to provide care and the basic needs of animals that are being boarded or that are patients of Creve Coeur Animal Hospital.

The new team member will be responsible for observing the animals’ appearance and activity, cleaning and disinfecting the ward areas of the hospital as often as necessary, determining the type and amount of food and/or medications the animals receive, walking hospitalized and boarded dogs several times a day, to patrol the hospital grounds daily, picking up any trash and stool material, bathe and dry animals, aid the other areas of the hospital as needed, and most importantly, to provide loving care to all patients at the hospital. Great customer service skills on the phone and in person are required. 

This position is part-time and will require days, evenings, weekends, and some holidays.

We are looking for someone who strives for excellent client service. Previous experience is preferred, but not required.
