We would like to wish a happy spring to all of our
friends and clients. We hope this newsletter finds all of you
healthy, happy, and having a good 2012. We are doing well,
but it has been an adjustment for us now that we are down to
just one child at home. Tim, 13 years, is now effectively an
only child and stuck at home with his two nerdy veterinarian
parents. He definitely misses his big brother and big sister and
looks forward to their visits home. Luckily, Tim is very active
in extracurricular activities, keeping him busy. He currently is
playing lacrosse, playing tenor banjo, and active in Boy
Scouts. When he isn’t busy with those activities, he loves to
read and take care of his California King Snake, “Cookie”.
Will, 19 years, is finishing his first year at Mizzou.
He is majoring in Anthropology and International Studies and
plans to study abroad in Europe next semester.
Katie, 22 years, will be finishing her Journalism and
Geography degrees at Mizzou next spring. She has been successful in attaining two competitive internships, which will
delay her graduation by one year, but open doors for her after
graduation in a difficult job market. Katie is starting a 6
month paid internship in Norfolk, Virginia in June, so she will
really be leaving the nest in a big way very soon.
Between Will in Europe and Katie in Virginia,
Christie, Tim, and I will be spending a lot of time on Skype in
the upcoming year. It’s a new world for the Moritz family.
Have a great summer!
