Christopher K. Moritz, DVM
Dr. Christopher Moritz completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Missouri-Columbia where he majored in Fisheries and Wildlife from 1981-1984. In 1984, he was accepted to the University of Missouri-Columbia College of Veterinary Medicine. He was elected to lead the class as Senior Class President in 1987, and graduated in 1988 with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from UMC. After graduation, Dr. Christopher Moritz practiced for two years at Kirkwood Animal Hospital, gaining valuable experience in small and exotic animal medicine and surgery. In 1990, he took a position at the National Animal Disease Center in Ames, Iowa, studying Brucellosis, a disease that affects both cattle and humans. In 1991, he took a position in Springfield, Illinois, gaining further private practice experience. Then, in October 1993, he returned to St. Louis and started Everything Pets Animal Hospital, with his wife, Dr. Christine R. Moritz. In August 2005, Dr. Christopher Moritz and Dr. Christine R. Moritz along with their partner Dr. Steven M. Glaeser, purchased the Creve Coeur Animal Hospital practice and merged the practices into the newly renovated Creve Coeur Animal Hospital building. Aside from a respected veterinarian in St Louis, he serves as the Hospital Director.
Christine R. Moritz, DVM
Dr. Christine Moritz completed her undergraduate studies at Texas A & M University from 1981 – 1984 where she majored in Animal Science. In 1984, she was accepted as one of two Curator’s Scholars to the University of Missouri-Columbia College of Veterinary Medicine. She was also appointed Freshman Class President by the Dean’s office. In 1988, she graduated with a degree of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from UMC and won an award for excellence in internal medicine. After graduation, Dr. Christine Moritz spent two years in a clinical St Louis veterinarian practice . In 1990, she then accepted a position at the National Animal Disease Center where she studied Leptospirosis in swine, a disease that causes reproductive failure in that species. In 1991, she took a position at Coble Animal Hospital, an AAHA member hospital in Springfield, Illinois. Then in October 1993, she and her husband, Dr. Christopher Moritz, started Everything Pets Animal Hospital. In August of 2005, Dr. Christine Moritz and Dr. Christopher Moritz along with their partner Dr. Steven Glaeser, purchased the Creve Coeur Animal Hospital practice and merged the practices into the newly renovated Creve Coeur Animal Hospital facility. As well as a practicing veterinarian in St Louis, she and her husband are raising their three children Katie, Will and Tim while caring for their two dogs, Camden and Mallory.
Steven M. Glaeser, DVM
Although Dr. Steven Glaeser grew up in the large city of Houston, Texas, he always had a fondness for his many family pets. His experiences, both happy and sad, led him to seek out a career in which he could foster his interest in animal care and his passion for the sciences. Dr. Glaeser began his studies at Texas A&M University and later transferred to the University of Minnesota. He was accepted into veterinary school at Minnesota prior to completing his undergraduate degree. In 1989 he received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Minnesota. After completing vet school, Dr. Glaeser accepted an associate position in Las Vegas, Nevada. There he honed his technical and communication skills during the many hours dedicated to appointments, surgery and emergency care. In 1994, after having spent 2 years in Las Vegas and 1 year in Canandaigua, New York, he relocated to St. Louis permanently. Dr. Glaeser continued his veterinary journey at a practice in St. Charles and then joined Everything Pets Animal Hospital in November of 1999. He later became part-owner with Chris and Christie Moritz in 2004. He took on additional management responsibilities when Everything Pets merged with Creve Coeur Animal Hospital and renovated their new facility in 2005. Dr. Glaeser enjoys seeing dogs and cats, but also enjoys the complexity of challenges seen with small mammal medicine and surgery. His interest in ultrasound led to certification by the Sound-Eklin Academy in Dallas, TX. Dr. Glaeser and his family reside in Kirkwood. He has many varied interests to keep him busy outside of his veterinary practice. He enjoys gardening and landscape design at home and at the clinic. He also has joined three other family members in renovating homes in the St. Louis area. His wife, Sherry, is completing her nursing curriculum at St. Louis Community College-Meramec. Dr. Glaeser and Sherry have two adult children, Mike and Katie, and two teenage daughters, Emily and Abbey. They also enjoy the benefits of watching and interacting with their four grandchildren as they grown up in the St. Louis area. Dr. Glaeser’s family also includes two cats, Hazel and Oscar, and two dogs, Ella and Harry. Dr. Steven Glaeser looks forward to meeting you and caring for you and your special family member.
Raelynn A. Kemp, DVM
Dr. Raelynn Kemp completed her undergraduate studies in Animal Science and Biochemistry from the University of Missouri-Columbia where she also received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in May 2004, graduating Cum Laude. In the summer of 2004, Dr. Kemp joined Everything Pets Animal Hospital (now Creve Coeur Animal Hospital) as an Associate Veterinarian.
Her professional interests include soft tissue surgery, dentistry, preventative medicine and rabbit/rodent medicine and surgery.
Dr. Kemp lives in Richmond Heights with her husband and two daughters.
Tony P. Kronk, DVM
Dr. Tony Kronk completed his undergraduate studies in Biology at Southeast Missouri State University. He continued his education at Southeast by pursuing a Masters degree in Biology, investigating the prevalence of West Nile Virus in dogs. Dr. Kronk received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2008, graduating Cum Laude. Also in 2008, he was inducted into Phi Zeta, the Veterinary Honor Society. In the summer of 2008, Dr. Kronk joined Creve Coeur Animal Hospital as an Associate Veterinarian in St Louis, MO. Aside from a practicing Creve Coeur veterinarian, Dr. Kronk has attended The Sound-Eklin Academy of Veterinary Imaging and was certified in abdominal ultrasound. His professional interests include small animal cardiology and reptile medicine and surgery. He currently lives in St. Louis City with his girlfriend Tammy, cat Leary, and a kingsnake.
Lillian F. Sandberg, DVM, MPH
Dr. Lillian Sandberg is a St. Louis native and graduated from John Burroughs School in 2003. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Missouri-Columbia where she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science and Biology. In 2013 she graduated from the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine with dual Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and Masters in Public Health degrees. Her professional areas of interest are preventative care, dentistry, general surgery and ultrasonography. Dr. Sandberg and her husband, Adam, recently moved to University City with their dog, Hank, and three cats—Rodeo, Edison, and Virgil. In her free time, Dr. Sandberg enjoys cooking, running, sewing and loves to try new things. Dr. Sandberg is very excited to be back in St. Louis and is happy to have joined the Creve Coeur Animal Hospital family!
